Terms of Service

1. The service

IB Valley is a desktop and cloud workspace for finance interview and career preparation: guided playbooks, drills, and an AI-assisted terminal. It is a preparation tool. It does not provide financial, investment, legal, or careers advice, and nothing it produces should be relied on as such.

IB Valley is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any bank, employer, or university, including any shown on our site.

2. Your account

You need an account to use IB Valley. Keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity on your account.

One subscription is for one person. Sharing or reselling access may result in termination without refund.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the service.

3. Subscription, billing, and refunds

IB Valley is a subscription billed quarterly or annually in advance through Stripe, depending on the billing period you choose. It renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.

You can cancel any time from your dashboard. Cancelling stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. Workspace files remain available for 30 days after access ends.

Fees are non-refundable, including for unused time, except where the service has materially failed to perform its core function (for example, sustained inability to access your workspace due to a fault on our side). If you believe that applies, contact us within 14 days of the charge. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under applicable consumer law.

4. Acceptable use

Don't use the service for anything unlawful, to infringe others' rights, to attempt to breach or overload our systems, or to develop a competing product by systematically extracting our content.

The playbooks and drills are licensed to you for your personal preparation. You may keep and use the models and documents you create in your workspace.

5. AI output

Parts of the service are generated by AI models. Output can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date. Check anything that matters before relying on it, especially numbers you present in an interview or assessment.

We do not guarantee interview invitations, offers, or any particular outcome.

6. Our content and yours

We own the service, the playbooks, and our branding. You own the files you create in your workspace. You give us the limited rights needed to store and process those files in order to run the service.

7. Termination

You can stop using the service and cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms; where the breach is material (such as account sharing or abuse), no refund is due.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make in reliance on the service. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

9. Changes and contact

We may update these terms as the service evolves; material changes will be notified in the app or by email, and continuing to use the service means you accept them.

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
